Building Brighter Futures Together

Tenthouse Structures and the Timbavati Foundation Bring Shade to Tshembhekani Creche

In a heartwarming collaboration aimed at enriching lives, Tenthouse Structures and the Timbavati Foundation recently came together to make a meaningful difference at the Tshembhekani Creche in Mpumalanga. Our joint effort is a testament to the transformative power of unity, embodying our shared belief in creating positive change where it matters most.

Recognizing the importance of providing safe outdoor spaces for young children, we set out to address the challenge of sun exposure at the Tshembhekani Creche. The harsh African sun often limits outdoor activities, depriving the children of much-needed playtime outside and respite from indoor activities.

Through our joint efforts, Tenthouse Structures donated four shade sails and all the fittings, while the Timbavati Foundation procured and installed the necessary gum poles and secured the shade sails, offering a practical solution to sun exposure.

A heartfelt thanks is extended to Candice Pierce, the General Manager of the Timbavati Foundation, and her exceptional team for their efforts in erecting the shaded structure and crafting a truly distinctive Lowveld-themed area.

Collaborating with you has been an absolute pleasure!

The success of this collaboration highlights the profound impact that can be achieved when organizations come together for a common cause. By combining our resources, we've created a safe and shaded environment where children can play, explore, and develop physically.

Now, thanks to the shade sails, the children at Tshembhekani Creche have a protected outdoor space where they can engage in physical activities without the risk of sunburn or heat exhaustion. This initiative not only promotes physical well-being but also provides the children with a much-needed opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in a safe and comfortable setting.

As we celebrate the success of the Tshembhekani Creche project, we invite other organizations to join us in our efforts to make a positive impact in communities. Together, we can continue to create safe and nurturing environments where children can thrive and grow.

Let's work together to build a brighter future that's Made Better Together.
