Our Expedition Camps range reinvents the romance of classic safari tents. Inspired by the wild, tried, and trusted in Africa, this range of precision-engineered, hand-crafted tents are synonymous with Tenthouse Structures quality. More than just a tent, Tenthouse comfort design, Thermoflex membrane, and ultra-lightweight structural technologies ensure optimal comfort, high performance, and an extended design life. Expedition Camps' precision-engineered, versatile, and low impact designs provide our clients with flexible options, and both accommodation and common area tents are available in this range.
ACCOMMODATION TENTS

Each Expedition Camps unit features a lightweight engineered structural frame, robust canvas tent body with heat shield canopy, built-in glass-fiber mesh windows and doors, YKK zipper canvas doors, interior and exterior canvas blinds, mosquito net tracks, plus MEP service hatches, and reticulation channels.
Accentuating the classic tent aesthetic and providing additional coverage and protection is the striking tensile roof membrane available in three distinct styles, hip, wayfarer, and nomad, and in three colours, khaki, linen, and taupe.
Our membrane and canvas textiles are fire-retardant, UV-stabilized, and anti-fungal. Optional upgrades and extras include clear PVC blinds, a built-in PVC floor, removable insulated liner, and woven rope sleeves for the steel masts and poles.
Soft- or hard-shell ensuite bathroom enclosures offer guests added privacy and hygiene with a sealed doorway and air gap between the bedroom and WC area.
We also offer our new SMART FLOOR under the living space as an extra providing a thermal mass, insulation, and a radiant heating/cooling system to connect to your heat pump system.
All Expedition Camps units come with pre-designed timber deck drawings for local production teams, or tents can be erected on a concrete base.
